The Service

Scanlooks is a free tool that applies a visual “scanned document” effect to PDFs, JPGs, and PNGs that you provide. All processing happens locally in your browser; no account or payment is required.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Scanlooks to create fraudulent, forged, or deceptive documents, or for any unlawful purpose, including misrepresenting a document’s origin or authenticity to a third party. You are solely responsible for the files you process and how you use the output.

Your content

You retain all rights to the files you process with Scanlooks. Since files are never uploaded to us, we neither claim nor require any rights to your content.

No warranty

Scanlooks is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scanlooks and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Scanlooks after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
